In this make and take class you will be creating your own miniature apothecary/curiosity cabinet. Fill and label tiny glass jars with mystical ingredients. Bind your own antique potion and spell books. Melt your own miniature drippy candles. Choose creepy specimens for your collection. Finally, assemble your miniature works of art in a beautiful book box and revel in the creation of your very own APOTHECURIOSITY.

Our special guest teacher Claire has been entertaining Forest Grove residents with her home haunt, Spider House, for the past 16 years. She annually welcomes about 1000 guests on Halloween night. Recently, Claire has had the wonderful opportunity to work with some amazing volunteers to decorate scenes in the Nightmare Factory, Oregon’s longest running haunted house.

We hold workshops on Sundays and Friday Nights (Sometimes Saturdays) in June-September at our shop showing people how to make the style of Halloween props we make. You pay a fee to attend a limited-space workshop and take home a finished prop.

For safety reasons, no children under 15 are allowed. Ages 15-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- You may bring a friend to help, for a nominal fee.
- No refunds, but missed classes can be rescheduled.
- Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t care about getting paint, glue, and other materials on.
We provide a refrigerator to store food and beverages. Water and soda will be available. No alcoholic beverages are allowed during class or in the shop.

If you’d like to bring someone along with you to help you in one of your workshops we charge a partner fee.

Pet Memorial Statue Class

Because even our furry friends deserve a place in the graveyard.

When Hal the Halloween Cat, beloved mascot of Davis Graveyard, passed after 15 years of faithfully greeting guests and “helping” with props, we knew he needed more than just a memory — he needed a monument. So we did what we do best: monster mudded a toy store cat, added a base, a hand-carved plaque, a little paint, some glow-in-the-dark eyes… and just like that, Hal still watches over the yard in spirit.

️ In this two-part class, you’ll create your own creepy, cute, or commemorative pet statue using monster mud and a stuffed animal of your choice.
