September 6th 9 am – 1 pm
Create your own timeless stone-style bust—without the marble, chisels, or several years apprenticing under a Renaissance sculptor.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll transform a simple male wig head into a classic library-worthy bust using EVA foam to build the shoulders, clothing, and lapels. You’ll learn how to use Loctite spray foam to sculpt and shape the hair, then texture, finish, and paint your creation to give it the aged appearance of carved stone.
We’ll walk you through the process step-by-step, from constructing the bust form to adding the final layers of creepy old-world character.
You’ll learn how to:
- Build shoulders and clothing details using EVA foam
- Create dimensional lapels and other costume elements
- Sculpt and shape hair using Loctite spray foam
- Add texture and imperfections for an aged stone look
- Paint and finish your bust to look like a weathered classical statue
You’ll leave class with your own finished bust—perfect for a haunted library, study, mantel, graveyard, or anywhere that could use a mysterious gentleman silently judging your life choices.
